In order to balance our state of mind, when we are not facing a pathological mental disease but the common challenges of life, first of all we need to awake our awareness.
To do this, we may want:
- listen to our emotions, dedicate them our time;
- listen to our body and observe its reactions to events through the observation of breathing, muscles’ tension, listening to our voice, as if we were observing a third person, when emotions spring up;
- move our awareness to the expressions of our face, notice the contractions of facial muscles;
- evaluate the thoughts that cross our mind with detachment and start visualizing the actions that will be taken to manage the situation by adopting specific techniques;
- accept the emotions we feel, don’t try to repress them, nor to make them grow in intensity or apply them in the wrong way. We need our emotions and we need to experience them to be able to move to a higher level of consciousness;
- learn to call the emotions by their name and clearly recognize their difference, and the great potential they have;
- learn above all to generously share a positive emotion with those we love: positivity is contagious!
When you try this, it is also beneficial for others. Learning to distance ourselves from our emotions as if we were an observer in third person, it will help us to recognize that this situation is temporary, that it only refers to a given situation, and that certain emotions do not defines who we really are but are the expression of a given particular circumstance, that it will certainly change.
The information, the knowledge, the clarity of the perceptions received and the mental clarity of the practitioner depends on the level of practice of the latter and from his or her ability to free themselves from their own reference system. When we start a coaching path we are considering the possibility of determined changes in order to allow a transformation.
To overcome our limitations it is necessary to increase the practice, both in quantitative and qualitative terms, begin to make active use of the mind for the management of the emotions, and work on the elimination of the reference system.
Many of the qigong practices were developed with the idea of bringing health and harmony within the individual, and in particular the practices that I taught for may years focus inwardly, and on the layers that are taken into consideration to reach a specific goal.
Working mainly on the posture and more precisely on the spine and on the neck, we become able to harmonize the internal flow of the organs and create a whole between body and mind and reach a peaceful agreement with the surrounding world.
